This page will help you understand how to configure and manage a DigitalDNA key, starting from the pairing and then looking all the possible settings.
To pair a DigitalDNA key, you can use the dedicated widget in the homepage and tap on "Set up DigitalDNA key".

This same operation can be started from the "Certificate and Devices" section, available opening the top-right menu.

In case you have not already configured any certificate, just select the "Add Device Certificate" option.

Otherwise, select "Add certificate" first and then "Add Device Certificate".

After this first step, Namirial Sign will start a Bluetooth research to look for any DigitalDNA present nearby.
It is important that:
- The Bluetooth of the smartphone is enabled.
- The Bluetooth of the DigitalDNA key is set to on (there is a specific slider on the side, the blue led in the middle should blink).
- You have granted the permission to Namirial Sign for looking for nearby devices.

Once your device has been identified, select it (look at the number on the backs of your DigitalDNA key). To start the pairing, you will be asked to press and hold the botton on the front of the DigitalDNA key until the blue led blinks faster.

Then, type the device PIN.

Here, if you have enabled the biometric authentication on your smartphone, you will have the possibility to choose whether to save the PIN by using the Touch ID / Face ID (according to the device), so that, when signing, you will be no longer requested to enter it. You can choose to use both the PIN and the biometrics when signing too.
After these simple steps, the pairing is completed and you will notice a change in the homepage, where you can easly identify the DigitalDNA key in the corresponding widget.

Mind that you can pair only one DigitalDNA key at a time, so, in case you have to use a different one, you will need to perform an unpairing first.
Too see the certificates, you can go to "Certificates and devices" in the top-right menu. There, your DigitalDNA key will be identified with the corresponding icon.

If you select it, the onboard certificates will be shown.

You can decide to assign to them a custom name by using "edit label".
If you tap on the cog icon in the DigitalDNA key widget in the homepage, you will access the configurations of your device.

Here there are:
- Power on intervals
- Energy profile
- Sound management
- Last position
- Change PIN
- Unlock PIN
"Power on intervals" allows you to schedule specific times to automatically switch on or off you DigitalDNA.
Up to two intervals can be defined.

"Energy profile" provides you the possibility to define after how much time of inactivity the DigitalDNA key is switched off.

"Sound management" can be used to define which operations will cause the DigitalDNA key to beep.

"Last position" shows the latest identified position of the DigitalDNA, if the location permisson has been granted.
You can use this functionality to change your device PIN.

In case you have blocked you DigitalDNA key entering for three times the wrong PIN, you can use this functionality to unlock it by using the PUK.

In case you have enable it from the settings, you can use the Find me function:
The speaker icon in the DigitalDNA key widget in the home will make the DigitalDNA key play the melody configured in the settings.
Press twice the button on the DigitalDNA Key will make the smartphone play the melody configured in the settings.
To unpair a DigitalDNA key you can go to the device managment section and tap on the bin icon. The same operation can be done by going to the certificates and tapping on the red button "Forget these certificates".
