# Namirial Wallet Platform - introduction

## Overview

The Namirial Wallet Platform is a modular, standards-based ecosystem designed to support the issuance, storage, presentation and verification of digital credentials under the **European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet framework**. It enables public and private organizations to participate in the EUDI ecosystem through a single, interoperable integration layer, while ensuring security, compliance, and user-centric trust.

## Vision & Mission

The Namirial Wallet Platform envisions a European digital identity ecosystem where individuals and organizations can seamlessly exchange trusted credentials across borders, sectors, and use cases.

The vision is to become a **reference platform for EUDI Wallet interoperability**, enabling service providers to adopt digital identity and trust services without being constrained by protocol complexity, national fragmentation, or wallet-specific integrations. By abstracting technical and regulatory complexity, the platform aims to accelerate the adoption of EUDI Wallets as a foundation for secure digital services in Europe.

The mission of the Namirial Wallet Platform is to **simplify and secure participation in the EUDI Wallet ecosystem**.
It provides organizations with a compliant, scalable, and user-centric platform to:

- issue digital credentials,
- verify credentials presented by wallets,
- enable qualified trust services such as QES,
- and manage policies, certificates, and auditability,

## Platform Objectives & Value Proposition

- **Interoperability at Scale & Future-Proofing**
Provide a single, stable integration point to interact with all EUDI-compliant wallets across Europe, while remaining aligned with evolving standards and specifications.
*Value delivered*: reduced integration effort, protection from ecosystem fragmentation, and long-term interoperability across countries and wallet implementations.
- **Standards-Based Compliance by Design**
Ensure full adherence to the EUDI Architecture and Reference Framework (ARF), including core protocols such as OID4VCI and OID4VP, as well as trust and certificate frameworks.
*Value delivered*: regulatory alignment, reduced legal risk, and confidence for Issuers, Relying Parties, QTSPs, and Wallet Providers operating in regulated environments.
- **Security & Trust Assurance**
Enforce strong cryptographic protections through hardware-backed key storage, non-exportable private keys, certificate-based access control, and tamper-proof audit logging.
*Value delivered*: high assurance for credential issuance and verification, reduced fraud exposure, and offloading of security-critical responsibilities from service integrators.
- **Operational Efficiency & Scalability**
Reduce integration, onboarding, and operational complexity through a modular, role-based platform supporting multiple organizations, use cases, and deployment models.
*Value delivered*: faster rollout, lower operational costs, and scalable deployments for enterprises, intermediaries, and ecosystem operators.
- **Accelerated Time-to-Market for Wallet Providers**
Enable Wallet Providers and service operators with existing applications to rapidly deploy EUDI-compliant wallet solutions using SDK or white-label options backed by ready-to-use backend and lifecycle services.
*Value delivered*: quicker market entry, reduced development and certification effort, and focus on user experience and differentiation.
- **User-Centric Control & Transparency**
Guarantee clear disclosure of data requests, explicit user consent, and full user control over credential usage in line with EUDI user-centric trust principles.
*Value delivered*: increased user trust and adoption, higher completion rates in credential flows, and compliance with privacy and transparency requirements.
