Templates

All WhatsApp messages are based on a pre-approved template. During the configuration phase, you specify which templates are available for your account. Templates must be approved by Meta before they can be used.

Template quality

Templates may be disabled automatically based on customer feedback and engagement. Once disabled, a template cannot be used until its quality rating improves or it no longer violates Meta's business or commerce policies.

Each template can be provided in different languages. If the language specified in the API call does not exist for a template, there is an automatic fallback to the template's default language.
